I’m finding older folk increasingly rude and thoughtless

I always hold doors open for people and those who do not say thank you or acknowledge you are invariably old people - young people always say thank you !

You have a point. I’ve had endless fascinating conversations with my teenage daughters, but not that many with their Grandma, my Mother-in-Law. Young people, where their social confidence gives them the freedom to behave normally, are polite and thoughtful. I’m finding older folk increasingly rude and thoughtless.

I don’t think Grimsby has much to worry about - a quick walk about suggests there’s not too many salad aficionados - unless it’s the few strips of lettuce in a Big Mac of course

sounds wonderful - pleased you had such a great time, sounds like ‘proper’ family stuff - nice to hear about.
I’ve got lists of the crashes Mick but they’re by date unfortunately, but I think it’s certainly more likely than not

The Lincolnshire weather has been truly kind to us Rod. We have just returned from five days at Chapel St Leonards.When we travelled out on Monday, I was beginning to wonder what we had let ourselves in for ! thankfully, the remainder of our stay was magnificent. We had a great day out yesterday at Gibralter Point - did a spot of birdwatching, then walked across the causeway and pitched ourselves on the beach below the dunes. The little lad and I played in the shallow tidal stream whilst mum took photos and film. My missus took a lovely shot of an uprooted sun bleached tree stranded by the tide. (She is becoming quite a nifty little photographer - I am dreading the day she asks for an upgrade to the point-n- shoot)

I did overhear a couple of folk talking about a Wellington bomber that had crashed somewhere thereabouts Rod - do you or any of the site folks know of this?
