WoE
Ray Mears has a huge stack of man points - he gets quite a few for being on one of the only TV programmes I watch, never mind all his other manly activities.
He's a top man !

The Henri Lloyd Transglobals are ideally suited to this kind of work, one of the many reasons I purchased them - think ahead and be prepared. How wise of you to remember !

I need not make a flint arrow as I always leave the house with a loaded weapon, though it no longer gets unsheathed as often as it did :)

For those unaware more info on man points can be found below
What are Man Points

ARB

I once worked for a Circus, as such I can confirm
If it Growls at you …. “Leave it Alone !

You'd have done well to heed your own words of wisdom and applied them to your extracurricular activities :)

Rod,

Ray Mears would know how to deal with a situation like this. He strikes us as a huge man-points earning male .... better do some research on how to make a quick flint arrow before you leave the house.

WoE

p.s. is the Transglobal boot any good when it comes to big game hunting?

Lb,
Sounds like they never caught it ,
Hence the Grimsby Growler.

Many years ago a Circus owner who at the time had two very old just about toothless very tame Lions in his Circus, staged a fake escape of the Beasts in whichever town he was in at the time to get some publicity.

ARB,
This reminds me of a true story..back in about 1991/92 on a particularly foggy night a large cat (tiger or leopard, can't remember which) escaped from the visiting zoo and ran amock in Grimsby. Everyone was terrified and I remember being stuck in a pub for fear of being attacked by the savage beast. All the taxis were booked so I had to walk home, I decided to ram as much beer down my neck as possible to suppress the fear inside. Not exactly Tarzan I Know.

Lb ,
The last sighting I had of a Grimsby growler it did indeed appear to be similar to a large black cat
I once worked for a Circus, as such I can confirm
If it Growls at you .... "Leave it Alone !
and don't poke or prod it with a stick either.
