William Faulkner Lost Manuscript Dreadful Hollow

A lost manuscript by Nobel prize winning author William Faulkner has been found by the authors daughter, Jill Faulkner, amongst family papers.
The manuscript is all the more surprising in that it is a screenplay and looks set to be made into a movie !

Dreadful Hollow is a Vampire based work, with a women as the lead.
Producer Lee Caplin has secured the rights to turn it into a movie.
Apparently, it is very well written and much in the Faulkner style - let’s hope Hollywood retain as much of it as possible.
After all we have had one or two Vampire films in the past - having a base provided by such an important author must be respected - even if it’s just for bottom line and commonsense.

We look forward to seeing if they can actually come up with the goods with a quality screenplay sat in their laps, I’d like to think they could but given the wasted potential I keep seeing in movies I suspect, sadly, they will miss the ball

I was wondering when a new vampire movie could possibly be out. I truly think most of the vampire based movies were cheesy and not well acted. I do however deeply enjoy Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned(could of been MUCH better though) and ofcourse Bram Stoker’s Dracula from 1992. I wonder if this manuscript will be displayed on screen.

    Hi Kassie
I too am a fan of the ‘quality’ vampire movies. This one sounds like it should be in that vein from what we know.
Hopefully they will not ruin it and spoil the opporunity and just try and impress us with special effects a la Van Helsing !
    Regards
