Will the Real Mr Collins Please Stand Up

Will the Real Mr Collins Please Stand Up !
Yes indeed, some may suspect it and now I confess, I am not, nor ever have been, Mr Collins !

How am I known or how to get my attention, call me over, these are the following things said, shouted and to which I answer:

People who know me a little say - “Rod !”
People who know me well say - nothing and duck into a doorway
The police and security guards shout - “Stop Thief !”
Unknown hot girls scream - “Can we have your autograph Mr Brosnan ?”

etc etc - you get the idea.
I respond to many names, most I would not use on this site, but what I don’t respond to is …
Mr Collins

Why is that you may ask. Well… There’s only one Mr Collins aka The Desert Fox

Mr Collins

Back Left Me - Back Centre Mr Collins

Using all my skills and the awesome powers of photoshop 7 you’ll see my graphics indicating the protagonists mentioned at my father’s 80th birthday party.
The photographer clearly caught us in the background having a ‘moment’
Style watchers will instantly note that Goldeneye was caught in the act of ’shooting his cuffs’
You’ll also readily see why the man I am conversing with is Mr Collins and I am not

Great photo - in fact … awesome !

I noticed that the gentleman in the blue shirt and tie had just realised that you had walked into the room and was “praying” that you did not notice him, no convenient doorways for him to duck into!!!!

What a fantastic looking gentleman your father is for 80,
I wonder if ‘Goldeneye’ will look that good at that age? ;)

the gent in the forefront certainly has that “god it’s him look” about him, hadn’t noticed that.
Nobody ducked anywhere on this occasion as it was a free bar :)
Most will put up with anyone, even me, if there are free drinks and a nosebag in it !

I’d settle for looking that good at this age but they just do not make them like that any more !
    Cheers

    Rod,

The mould was obviously broken after they made ‘Mr Collins’.
I agree, they do not make true English Gentlemen anymore, not from my experience anyway, unless you know different. :)
    Have a good weekend.

    Rod,
Spot on. An example for all those droopy shouldered dead losses out there if ever there was one. Felt very proud to be his son when we walked in there. Twenty five years ago nothing he said made any sense to me, it does now!!
Lets not forget Mrs C, the boys would be a bloody sorry bunch without her.
