I would recommend asking people not to bring wine. I am not a fan of this modern phenomenon.
I have even heard mention of something called a 'bring a bottle party' !
My recommendation would be if you want to throw a party supply everything and ask your guest to bring only themselves.
If this poses any form of problem you could always throw a bash akin to my Goldeneye Staff Annual Christmas Party
