When Should a Man Start Acting His Age ?

Well folks, a review of things that are currently standing proud and to be recommended and those that are drooping and consequently of little use brought about the title of this post.
Why ? because this week it was my birthday
This week saw the Goldeneye Year Counter click over once again - getting older is obviously a good thing - it’s when you stop getting older that you’ve got a problem !
Welcome was the news that once again unbiased and unprompted comment from an impartial observer claimed your host
“looks young”

The big day itself went off very well indeed and I have a post to do about a trip that day which will be coming to a flat panel near you soon - I’m sure you can hardly wait !
It could well be that the time has come to start acting my age, or at least something nearer to it. The current operating window seems to be about 10-18 years of age depending on the object in or situation in question

Thanks to all those involved in the Goldeneye Birthday - your efforts and generosity are both appreciated and duly noted for possible reciprocal generosity on my part [ please note use of posssible ]

Here are some highlights and lowlights

Money Under the Mattress

My birthday - a great day
Cycling - one of my best moves this year
Getting out and about
Scarves - back with a bang

Money in the Bank

Last courgette harvested
Derbyshire Building Society - no money for the takeover - cost me, well, … £ a lot :(
Having to do another grid girl page for Singapore (new venue)
Car insurance, car tax, water rates, gas bill all in one week

My MySpace friends didn’t forget my birthday either - a sample of them :)

This post and the up and down list have been cut short due to a need to go cycling - sorry about that - more additions later perhaps
Cheers
Rod
