Well people do visit and for that I’m genuinely grateful. They visit for all sorts of reasons of course, many regularly come back but a lot also come here the first time after searching Google for something.
The beginning of the month allows me so see some of the more obscure search terms that bring people to the site, here’s a few.

How marvellous that sock etiquette is still live and kicking (
) ….. more, much more involved and tricky is the awe inspiring kimono etiquette. So detailed and precise that despite books and videos on the subject, we are still struggling with the complete ensemble. The general idea is not to look like a bag of potatoes and that dear readers, is easier said than done especially for those of us more at home with voluminous robes and track suit bottoms. From the sublime to the ridiculous you could say.
That’s all very well but can you fly in it, we hear you ask…. well at the moment we can barely walk in it and at this rate it is doubtful we will ever get up sufficient speed in order to launch ourselves
Very important to note Rod, that in Japan one should wear white tabi socks with geta sandals….. subsection tabi etiquette?
