You’re not old and alone…. you’re probably old and menopausal Lucky for you, your boyish tendencies ought to hold back the years and a few testosterone building gougeres will soon put things right … (this won’t be listed in any medical journal folks so don’t bother looking it up )

We’ve done a quick calculation and counted dozens of friends, a huge drain on Coven resources… so we can afford to part with a few in exchange for the ability to get into your jeans (and we don’t mean this in the biblical sense either folks so no sniggering). The swap will have to take place at dawn in a foggy park, near a bench… that’s the way they do it in the movies with state secrets You’ll never be alone and the Witches will be supermodels with curiously rolled up hems…. simple really

fear of the unknown makes a lot of sense but experiencing something may not rid you of the feat, in some cases possibly experiencing something unpleasant or worryiong may give you life-long concerns.

As for being alone, i don’t believe anyone who is loved and has family will ever be alone
Very nicely put and I agree.
That presupposes though that one has family left when one is old or indeed one is loved
