Van Halen to Reunite With Dave Lee Roth
The mighty Van Halen are to be reunited with their original lead singer, the one and only, David Lee Roth - Awesome !
One of the greatest and most influential of modern rock bands will once again go on tour, sadly just in America it appears, but nonetheless excellent news.
The line up will not quite be as the original as bass player, Michael Anthony, has been replaced by Eddie’s son Wolfgang.
The importance of Van Halen cannot be overstated, they shaped the sound hard rock for a modern generation. I remember buying Van Halen I when it was released and hearing Eruption! - a memory ingrained in my mind. It was simply mind blowing - like nothing I had ever heard.
Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen are the 2 most important rock guitarists to date. Whilst others have played a large part in introducing new styles, think Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen, modern rock guitar owes everything to Jimi and Eddie.
If you play the guitar then you already know all this, if you don’t then you should know it !

Nothing to do with Van Halen but just read that Angelina Jolie finds scars a turn on. We’re in!! Question is, which one of us goes first?
If you’re going to use the ‘eldest first’ like you usually do then I’m off round to Kylie’s.
