UFOs in Lincolnshire
Folks, what can I say ?
I’ve let you all down !
I know people from every corner of the world (corners + sphere ??) look to me to keep them abreast of the latest news from Lincolnshire and what do I do when the biggest story since your host broke his toe breaks in Lincolnshire … miss it all together !
 A 65ft blade from the 290ft turbine fell off and a second was bent in the mysterious incident in Conisholme, Lincs, on Wednesday

I’ve seen the story in online newspapers all week but not read it so only realised today than it happened here in the best place in the world - Lincolnshire !
Having seen the headlines all week I presumed it to be nonsense yet somebody is taking it seriously as the parts are being sent to Germany for ‘forensic analysis’ - quite why we can’t do it here is beyond me but there you go.
Solve the Mystery
DCI Collins will solve the mystery !
The blade must have fallen off or suffered an impact of some sort
Anything flying would have known of the impact or shown signs of damage so presumably talk of “unmanned stealth bombers on test flights” could be put to rest by the MOD.
My guess is mechanical failure, one blade getting out of balance throwing the whole thing out of kilter before breaking off.
My other guess is top secret government plane testing !
My other theory is it was actually aliens as:

I see bright flashing lights every night so quite what that means I don’t know. Anyhoo, I’ve covered my bases so when the truth comes out I must be right !
There’s bound to be a rational explanation but it does seem strange that even the serious press reports seem unable to uncover it.
Is there life out there that we don’t know about ?
Yes, I should imagine there is !
The universe is of a size beyond our comprehension - do we really think we’re the only life in it ?

At the moment we’re going for the alien option… who obviously ejected their own frozen urine while inadvertently passing by at great speed
A novel way of advertising their presence here on earth…. hopefully this will not be seen as them marking their territory 
Do keep up with topical issues Rod, you’re slipping and some of us are having to rely on the BBC these days!!

WoE, its very interesting that you’re so quick to blame aliens. When I first heard about the damaged turbine I thought…sabotage! After all there is quite strong local opposition to the windfarms, of course when you consider the height 290ft it seems an impossible task for any normal person to harm the blades. I never thought of someone using a broomstick, not that I’m pointing the finger of blame at anyone

You rascal you, fancy thinking that! We forward thinking witches are all for windfarms, it’s just that we thought they might not miss one if we picked it up and put it in the garden as a feature… having failed miserably we quickly put it back but of course by then one of whirly things had whirled off… we were lucky not to have caused a domino/boomerang effect

I had considered the possibility of broom damage[later edit] the genius that is Dino was there before meI shall try and keep up if for nop other reason than to keep you away from the propoganda machine masquerading as the BBC !
There are now security guards on the site with ’slavering’ dogs !!
