You never know what you'll stumble across on the internets. I'm Michael Avallone's son, and it's nice to see a little love for the Coxeman.

As a historical note, even my extremely prolific father did not have the energy to keep up with Rod... so he only wrote about 9 or 10 of the Coxeman books. I don't know who wrote the rest.

Dino
ah well, now don't do anything too hasty, I don't really see the need to draw attention to me.
Man to man, I'm sure you understand how delicate these matters can be.
Women are notoriously touchy when it comes to the father of their children - must be their enhanced sensitivity which can border on hysteria.

I think it best all round if we keep quiet about this, of course I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but never-the-less ...

Keep it Quiet !

Dear Mr. Damon, Thank you for your interesting article and the confession that the Coxeman novels are your true exploits!
I was talking about your books with a lady only this week, her name is Olga and she's visiting England in search of her father, whom she's never met. Olga's mother was apparently a spy during the Cold War in Cairo during 1968 and Olga was saying what a coincidence one of the Coxeman novels was set in Cairo in 1968, I suggested she goes to see you as you might know who her father was? Best of luck and hope you give Olga's eight children a big welcome as they all seem to be anxious to meet you!!!!

WoE
sadly I do not have copies in my own library I'm afraid. It's so gauche when people own books about themselves I think !
The author Michael Avallone died in 1999 so he'll not be signing copies anymore (except for ebayers of course ;) )
Keep it Up !

Dear Coxey

We'd like a signed copy of <i> Son of a Witch </i> please when you next visit with the <strike> mediocre </strike> lovely chocolates :)

WoE

p.s. can you still manage the top floor via the drain pipe or should we leave the Stannah on standby? :)
