Well, we’ll let you know ! But firstly would you believe that he was actually James Bond ??

It has finally been discovered that the ‘tame racing driver’ from the world’s most popular motoring show in former Nascar driver Ben Collins.
Ben Collins also doubled for Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace for the more extreme driving parts in the Aston Martin !
How’s that then ?
He was finally outed today although his identity had been known to the national press for some time. Strangely (for them), they all took the view that in the interests of the programmes mystique they would all keep it quiet !
Personally, I think there’s more than one person who does the driving. I’m sure I’ve seen people who had clearly different body shapes and mannerisms etc - they just looked different.
I’m pretty sure that Damon Hill, former British F1 World Champion, once did it.
I suspect also the Luca Badoer, the chief Ferrari test driver, also donned the white racing overalls and helmet as well.
The first person to have the role of The Stig, Perry McCarthy, was believed to have been fired when he revealed it was him in his autobiography. He was summarily executed by being fired of an aircraft carrier in an old Jaguar XJS.
So there’s another mystery solved - I may tackle the meaning of life next

I know people that work on the program, I can confirm this is true and Damon did drive a few times, you can check out some of the driving and also when he isn’t in the car soem of the manerisms, Damon drove on the programe to get rid of the rumour.
