The End of Buying Cheap CDs Online

The days of buying cheap CDs over the internet may be over !

The popular retailer, CD Wow, has just been subjected to a £41 million fine.
They are able to massively undercut other retailers in this country by importing genuine CDs from places such as Hong Kong, where they are very much cheaper.

The money will go to the British record companies if the court ruling is upheld. As with everything that happens in this country today, the case will probably go to the European Court.

The record companies said that their actions in breaking the copyright agreement were likely to undermine home-grown talent and British music in general and they were not doing the consumers any favours.

Nice of them to think of us ! What would be nicer though would be not having to pay twice as much for our “home-grown” talent as people thousands of miles away from “home” do !

We might as well forget the whole thing - Blubster, Livewire and an MP3 player - job’s a good un !
Best

PS: If CK reads this, have you got the new Ozzy album downloaded yet :)
