Silverstone 2007 Formula 1 Grand Prix
Goldeneye is planning to attend the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix !
The ultimate sporting event is a Formula One Grand Prix, nothing compares to the spectacle and glamour of the event. Your host has no interest in any other sport but has yet to attend an actual race.
Well, this year should be different ! I hope to be at the home of British motorsport to witness this spectacle.
Naturally I should have paddock passes and VIP grid access but I suspect they don’t quite know who I am or how important I am - damn their ignorance !
It should be a prime opportunity for a photo journal report as well, I shall of course share this with all my readers - no doubt you await this delight with baited breath.
Some people out there fail to grasp the finer points of Formula One, shame on you, they also say to me what do you see in it ?
Engineering excellence, supreme skill, tighter tolerances and more pressure than any other sport etc

Rod,
See you there then ….. the Witches will of course be driving in the Grand Prix, not that the organisers know that yet but unless they do a pointy hat count, they’ll be none the wiser. As far as we can tell there’s not much to it …. bump everyone else out of the way and put your Manolo down … hardly rocket science, or rather it wasn’t so let’s hope they don’t inspect our interplanetary thrusters too closely.

We’ll be looking for a brave individual to ride in the sidecar, handing out snacks and elderflower fizz should the Witches feel the need. Team WoE is hoping the vehicle will be ready in time …. just one small adjustment to the trailer and we’re there.

I must admit I have always been a fan of formula One, which possibly started many years ago with a Scalectric track on the dining room floor, anyway I think I shall stick with a winning formula and pick the one in white, on the outside lane !

A picnic basket that contained shallot tarte tatin would be an aerodynamic hinderance but a gastronomic delight

What’ll you be wearing? Team WoE (AWTM, ARB, LB, OMITK and Dino … Witchlet as co-pilot) will be easy to spot in pink leathers next to the sleek Batmobile, which by the way, will be fuelled entirely by olive oil and marshmallows.
On the winning podium, instead of champers, we shall pelt the crowd with little gougeres!

p.s. the Batmobile has two sidecars unlike the others, allowing greater stability and #1 ! If you want the Collins logo to be included that’ll be extra but worth it for the resident glitterarti etc.

I shall be dressing down as I don’t want to attract too much unwanted attention from the F1 Grid Girls similar to those pictured above.
You’ll be easy to spot as Penelope Pitstop no doubt and I hope to catch a gougere.
