Sian Gissing Miss Grimsby 2008 Winner
Well folks your host has been caught a little on the hop with our local contest to see who gets to represent the area in the Miss England finals.
I reported yesterday that the voting had closed for this year’s contest and that the final five had been found though there was no confirmation on the site.
I thought there would then be a final, perhaps I misunderstood.
Anyway, we are pleased to bring you the news and the winner.
Sian Gissing
Born in Grimsby and educated at Tollbar school, she has worked in modelling and actually had covers for magazines as well as appearing in FHM and Cosmopolitan.
She is now working as an accounts manager for a large company.
It’s pretty clear why SG was chosenwhen you see some of the photos from her portfolio.
We have a bona fide hot chick representing us

The final result is not quite as we reported yesterday.
We reported the results of the public vote several hours after the polls closed, and did mention it was not ‘official’
The final declared results are:
2nd: = Holly Pederson
3rd = Casey Hubbard
4th & 5th tied = Leoni Lane and Jade Clay
Stunning !
Once again there appears to be nothing, so far and at the time of writing, in the local paper.
We hope to bring you more information as and when it becomes available and wish Sian the very best of luck in the Miss England finals and with her year representing the town and area.
Hello Boys - Better than Eva IMHO !
Thanks to SG and all the other girls that took part. We did our bit to promote the event and it’s a shame the local media didn’t cover the event properly.
Our thanks also go to the outgoing incumbent Jade Dundridge who did us all proud for a year, enjoyed herself and was kind enough to comment on this site.

Thank you so much for yur kind words…..It is so lovely to hear that people approve of me winning Miss Grimsby 2008. I am very pleased and over come with excitment.
I do have to say that so of your information is little wrong…. As I am single and not married. Also, I only live in Bridgend for the week as that is where my work base is. Apart from that I stay in Grimsby on Weekends and Holidays.
Again, I am so thankful and I shall keep you update with my progress.

thanks for taking the time to comment, much appreciated and welcome to the site.
I have corrected the info, sorry if it was wrong, I got the background from MySpace, needed something to put on the page for search engines etc.
Hope it all goes really well for you and best of luck in the competition.

Well done in getting miss grimsby i am so proud of you, i have just found out that your my 2nd cousin as my mum (Sarah Gissing) is your mums auntie
