Sabaton Live in Concert ~ Review UK Tour
Sabaton ~ Live Concert Review ~ Beyond Awesome \m/
Yes folks I’m back at the ranch after a night of Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll drink and Rock n Roll
I went to see Dragonforce playing live on their UK tour at The Engine Shed in Lincoln but it was the Sabaton who stole the show for me !
Check this out !
Firstly the Engine Shed in Lincoln as a concert venue, excellent. Sound, very good, are drinks expensive ? Not unreasonable.
We saw the second support band on arrival then a set change and . . .
On came the Mighty Sabaton, henceforth for Sabaton read `
‘The Mighty Sabaton’
I have to say I hadn’t heard of them, I’ve lost track of things a little nowadays, so it’s always tricky, they had a support slot and I didn’t know any of their tracks so how did they do - they blew the roof off the place - fantastic.
It was Dragonforce I went to see, and they were staggeringly tight and impressive, but for me Sabaton made the live concert for me !
Not just me either, they really caught the crowd. The lead singer, Joakim Brodén, took the crowd with him and he looked genuinely to appreciate the reception the band got and that fed back into the crowd
It has to be said, I think they went down better with the crowd than headline act Dragonforce who came on after them.
They said they were playing a headline gig in London so if you can - go and see them - coming from Sweden you don’t know when you’ll get the chance to see Sabaton Live in Concert again !
The rest of the band were very tight and did a fantastic job - lead singer Joakim Brodén is a born front man as well
I’ll certainly go and see them live if I get another chance, especially if headlining, as they ought to be, with a 1.5 hour set
Check ‘em out below and on Youtube, give them a few listens - they’re a great band.
Ear Ringingly Yours
Rod

I will comment to a few posts here…… As to the above one, very noisy you should be carefull at your age listening to live music like this.
I slept with Tiger Woods too! Very suprising his wife is standing by his side, nothing to do with that he is a multi millionaire?!
The post isn’t on strike and i haven’t received the annual Goldeneye Christmas party invite yet??
Nice pictures of churches, are you starting a job as grave digger?
Nearly thought the site had changed until i saw the 2010 calendar post!

Jordan,
, there were plenty there older than I though
you’re right, of course, about the dangers of rowdy music on the elderly, even The Lone Shredder
Congratulations on being part to the Tiger story, I’m sure you’ll be discrete and not be selling you’re story Jordan.
I wonder if his wife is sticking by him with talk of a rewriting of the prenup’ ?????
Ah the Goldeneye Christmas party ! I knew there was something I had to organize - I may try and get Sabotan to play at the event - they’ll go down a storm !
I’ll stick to digging my own grave if you don’t mind, I’m rather good at it
All the best
