Paul Gilbert Ibanez PGM 301 Signature Guitar Review

A review of the awesome Paul Gilbert Ibanez PGM 301 Signature Guitar
Ibanez are producing, I believe, the best rock guitars in the business !

The RG series is one of the best selling guitars in the world today, second only to the Fender Stratocaster I believe.
What really has made the company such a force amongst rock guitarist is their signature models.
Namely those from Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and our man Paul Gilbert !

The latest PGM model features a 24 fret neck, maple fretboard, no tremelo - a fixed bridge ummmm !, and DiMarzio pickups (naturally)
As with previous axes it has the signature reverse headstock and f hole decorations.

Plays like a dream, very fast neck, great sound and tone.
As to the price, well quite a bit cheaper than I wold have thought, not bargain basement but not ridiculous or beyond the means of anyone with a sensible budget for a quality instrument.

My only concern would be options, I know it’s Paul Gilbert’s signature guitar but I would like a locking tremelo option. The f -holes may not be aesthetically everyone’s choice but they go with the territory.

Would I buy one - yes I would
