Online Dating with Google
Online dating is a huge business today, one of the most lucrative on the internet.
Google launched an online dating and search service yesterday. A tentative foray into the world of finding a partner on the internet.
Unlike most things web based, this is something we have never tried.
Now here is the catch. It was an elaborate April Fool’s joke by the big G. Very well done and no doubt caught a lot of people.
The really interesting thing here is though, what if they did it for real?
Anyone with a Gmail account could join free of charge!
They would take over the online dating business almost instantly, get huge numbers joining gmail and keep people in and around what is fast becoming a portal.
