New Gallery Feature
I’ve spent a day trapped inside due to the snow so thought I’d put it to good use and set up a proper picture gallery
What a nightmare
God I hate PHP !
Anyhoo, that out of the way (which is more than can be said for eye strain, headache, neck ache) the thing is up running, looks roughly as I want it and appears to work.
I thought it worked a few hours ago only to find on completely broke down when viewed with Firefox
All that said, the idea should be sound. What will happen from time to time is that I shall include a link to a gallery album in posts so you can go and see more pictures should you so wish. They will all be in galleries with thumb nail images which can be clicked on to see a larger version of the photograph.
I’ve thrown a test album up to se how it works so if you want to look the link is at the bottom.
I’m hosting it on one of my other sites so as to try and balance server loads etc - I don’t want people to experience and slowness on this site is possible
Have a little play about - you’ll see next links and previous links etc - it shoul dbe quite decent once you’re used to it
Feedback is always welcome, any problems please do let me know.
If you think it sucks feel free to say so - likewise if you think it’s the best thing you’ve ever seen on the internet . . .

this site is still maximum security so the question is what are they hiding in the bunkers here????

Hi Rod,
I just switched to Google’s Chrome web browser, and your pages load quickly and completely. Much faster, in fact, than Internet Explorer. Good job, Mr. Blogstein!!

Chris,

should be a walk in the park for you
I might be busy that day so i’ll lend you may camera gear
Brocklesby needs loads more research - and visits I think - there’s more going on around there than just an airbase !

Gallery Update:
I’ve added a rating system so people can rate the pictures, run your mouse along the stars and select 1 to 5 stars depending on your opinion of the picture.
