Motorhead Drummer Mikkey Dee in I’m a Celebrity
Motorhead’s drummer, Mikkey Dee, is to miss many of the US dates in the upcoming tour because he is going into the jungle and will appear in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here !
It is in fact the Swedish version, called Kändisdjungeln, of the programme not ours which is filled with mouthwatering delights or the not too shabby Gemma Atkinson and you can’t call them all brainless bimbos either as one had a degree.
It’s quite a week for the band as former 80s page 3 topless model Sam Fox stated that Lemmy was going to give her away in a Lesbian marriage taking place in Siberia - I kid you not !
Apparently, the drummer will be promoting the band by wearing Motorhead T shirts etc - as all well dressed men should of course - and he has the blessing of Lemmy despite it meaning he will not be playing with the band during their upcoming tour.
The show lasts 3 weeks so quite a few dates will be missed.
No word, at the time of writing, as to who the replacement will be but it’ll be a tough gig as he’s one of the very best drummers in rock, the best if you want my biased opinion.
Quite why he’s going on a reality TV show I’m not sure as he’s a pucker star unlike the washed out has-beens, would be’s, wannabes and Z list celebrities.
Anyhoo that’s the latest and is, quite literally, hot off the press Mickey Dee in the Jungle I’m a Celebrity Get Me . . . Out of Here.

I must say I was, presumaly both he and Lemmy thought the publicity worth it - though Sweden can’t be the biggest market in the world !
