Here we have a TRUE ORIGINAL Rare Early 1st Edition 25th print 1997 Bloomsbury paperback book.
This UK book is the REAL THING & not an Australian or Canadian look-alike.It is not large print,Ted Smart or any other variation…
The following points make this very early print book special:
To start with: It has the 1997 Smarties Gold Award label embosed on the front cover,this was only on the books upto the 32nd print.
Next: It has the young brown haired wizard on the back cover,rather than the old grey haired one.
Next: It has the words ” this is a terrific book..the Sunday Telegraph” this was changed to “winner of the 1997 Smarties Gold Award” which was changed again to “Tripple Smarties Gold Award Winner” in later printings
