Merry Christmas to All Our Visitors
It is now fast approaching the time, if not here already, when people will be away from offices and computers etc.
So it seems like the right time to thank everyone who visits the site.
Particularly those who leave a comment and participate.
Especially so those regulars who add so much to the site - I am extremely appreciative.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this site and look forward to seeing how it develops next year
I hope it has given some of you occasion to smile from time to time and you don’t feel your time here is entirely wasted.
Thanks and Regards
Rod

if you hate christmas so much why are you cooking 1000s of xmas dinners for people
Sit down, put a party hat on and tuck into some turkey and all the trimmings, it’ll bring you round !

Rod,
It is because I am cooking thousands of turkey dinners that I hate christmas so much-that and the general expense, inability to go anywhere or do anything, annoying songs by Slade and Wings, being told to have a lovely christmas by my suppliers who go on holiday as soon as I’ve placed huge orders to cover their abscence, being asked what I’m doing for New Year, will I be having or are you sick of the sight of turkeys type questions. Now I have the ‘Heston poaches his turkeys for ten years at two degrees in a broth of liquid nitrogen, sheep dung and rain water-they come out really moist-what do you do?’-well, actually I roast them-in an oven-with the gas turned up.
I’m off to pluck my goose if you pardon the expression.

my apologies, I would not have mentioned turkey if I’d known it was such a sore point!
Perhaps you should be more tolerant at this time of year and think of all those people who have had a great time eating your turkey and trimmings.
It may give you a last minute festive glow !
Enjoy the goose
Best
Rod
