I am embarrassed just reading that! She should be flogged.

I remember this one I heard a long, long time ago, in a conversation about Jeeves and Wooster. “Who wrote P G Wodehouse?”

I think the person in question was under the influence of several glasses of fortified wine!

Here’s another true story relayed to me by a woman after reading this post.

I was in London with a female friend, we stood at the foot of Nelson’s Column and she said:
“Who’s that on the top of Nelson’s Column”

Hi Mr. Coxeman!!! A lady friend of mine once told me she couldn’t get a job locally because when she told them about her three university degrees they always said she was over qualified. It never seemed to occur to her when applying for work such as a shelf filler at Tesco it wasn’t necessary to tell them about her degrees! You would have thought after being rejected the first couple of times for being over qualified she would have learned from the experience! She is obviously clever, more intelligent than me I’m sure, it has to be said though female logic is different and beyond my understanding somtimes.

Gossiping and yacking endlessly
Figures vary in total numbers but women speak between 2 and 4 times as much as men !

One study
Women: 6,000-8,000 words
Men: 2,000-4,000 words

This may also explain why, according to the British Medical Association, women are 400% more likely to suffer from jaw problems than men !
