When is Guitar Hero 4 or Guitar Hero World Tour being released ?
I need to know the release date because it seems it is going to feature Jimi Hendrix !
And before regular readers wonder what on earth I know about computer games for the Wii, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360 rest assured I am au fait with Guitar Hero 1, 2, 3 and Aerosmith …

Yes dedicated gamers and would be shredders, news of the latest version of the huge hit game series Guitar Hero is starting to filter out and it will feature Jimi Hendrix - probably the greatest rock guitarist of all time !
I cannot, at the time of writing, pin down the name, it could be called 4 or World Tour either way it’s sure to rock \m/
You’ll be pleased to hear your host has actually played this game and as I am actually the world famous Lone Shredder then you can imagine how good I must be on a simplified plastic axe !

That happened on Playstation 2 so when I got a chance to have a go on the Wii I hoped it might be different but no !

There are only 2 tracks announced thus far for the Jimi Hendrix version soon to be released
Purple Haze and The Wind Cries Mary
It is good to see some decent tracks on one as some of the song selections have been something of a puzzle to me.
Hopefully they will also be the original versions as some in the series are cover versions.
No doubt you’re all surprised just how young and up to date your host is !

I have tried to play it a couple of times and completed one song, but that was on the ‘easy’ setting, so i gave up, being beaten by a ten year old was somewhat embarrassing
