I’ve Never Watched Star Wars

I got this idea by seeing the end of some obscure TV show called I’ve Never Seen Star Wars.
The premise being most people have so it’s unusual not to have done so - this leads to other everyday things that some people have never done.
It got me thinking of things I have not done . . .

I’ve Never Watched any Star Wars Films of TV Shows
This seems reasonable to me as I’ve no time for sci fi be it films or books.

I’ve Never Used a Car Wash
I suppose I’ve been driving for almost a quarter of a century but I have never been in an automated car wash

I’ve Never Bought a Takeaway Pizza
I’ve had one from a supermarket once or twice but never bought ‘a proper one’ as it were

I’ve Never Had an Overdraft or Owed a Penny on a Credit Card
I’ve used credit cards for as long as I can remember but always paid the balance off at the end of the month and I’ve never had an overdraft

I’ve Never Had a Sober Weekend
Apart from a few stints in intensive care I’ve never known a Saturday night that didn’t involve drinking alcohol since I left school, possibly before I left school if I’m honest !

I’ve Never Put a Penny in a Jukebox
Despite a love a music and countless hours spent in pubs lamenting the songs being played in the background I have never paid to put a song on

I’ve Never Used Really bad Language in the Presence of a Female
I experienced women using the F word etc but I’ve never sworn in such a way myself in the presence of a lady or indeed a woman !

I’ll try and think of a few everyday things most people have probably done that I have, if you have any feel free to share them - it’s quite interesting really.
All the best
Rod

    Rod,
Sorry mate but I recall a rare sighting of your wallet opening back in the mid eighties, we were in the Submarine pub in Cleethorpes and you stuck ‘Hiroshima’ by Alcatrazz on the video jukebox, Malmsteen stopped the conversation as I recall!!
This is true as you also threatened your friend that if he didn’t look after me with my one pint of bitter all night you would beat him up. Those were the days!

LB (memory of an elephant, not the only similarity and I’m not talking about the ears!)

ps Hate to contradict you on the sobriety front as well but do you remember me smuggling some beer into the hospital ward for you one week?!!

    LB,

Would that be the same week you smuggled a Star Wars tape and a take away pizza into hospital for him as well? :)

    Rod,

So your memory isn’t what it once was, never mind it happens to us all past a certain age. You told us some time back that you’d never been out with Pamela Anderson, but can we believe it now …. your whole reputation is at stake :)

I’ll dispute this one - I can remember watching Hiroshima in the main bar of The Sub - screen was in the corner on the left near the doors that went to the other bar.
I can still see it playing though I’m pretty sure I never put the money in !
If I did trauma has probably forced me to forget it it :) Also for Yngwie it would have been worth it !

I remember you smuggling beer in. Note I said ‘Intensive Care’ whilst on the wards I still had a gargle :) - Never Surrender !
    Cheers

Is never having seen any of the Star Wars stuff so unusual? I can also claim that - I have no interest in it and not enough time. There are too many good films out there that I still haven’t watched, and too many good books that need reading before I get to that point where I’m so desperate I need to watch star wars!
