This is a relatively new circuit on the F1 calendar, a very modern and fast track designed by Hermann Tilke. It’s a great modern venue and and shows the sport at it’s best.
In 2006 there was some controversy after the podium ceremony due to the sometimes complicated political situations in and around Turkey
