If Things Look a Little Strange

Things may be looking a little different as I am thinking of changing the look of the site.
I may well go back to the original and welcome any suggestions or opinions

The whole thing is obviously not finished but I am leaning towards a classic, clean black and white feel.
Today saw my brother at La Casa Goldeneye doing some serious lens work. Some nice close ups of the River Cottage Project and one or two of your host and a guitar.
In keeping with the potential new site theme here is a black and white shot - regulars may want to note the the trousers are those infamous ones from the art of stylish cross dressing post

Rod Collins with Guitar

Myself taken by LB

There are some more to come, I’ve been told the pictures need updating so, as ever, your wish is my command
Let me kow what you think of changing the colour and layout as a basic principal - many thanks

    Rod,

We are contemplating ….. black and white, yes, however this shot doesn’t show off your best feature … shiny shoes! What’s with the woodchip wallpaper, hardly a backdrop for a rock god :)

    LB,

We think you did the best you could with the raw materials and it’s certainly a great improvement on Rod’s self portraits. Was he a difficult model to work with? At his level they get stroppy don’t they? Looking forward to the fully tweaked version … as they say in these parts!

p.s. Rod don’t suppose you do requests? Bring that guitar thingy with you to the next gathering and you can entertain us by strumming our favourite James Taylor numbers…

    WoE,
Wood Chip ! Never - not in my house !
I was looking down at the shiny shoes when the picture was taken and decided they were not clean enough so LB cropped them out :)

Only do requests for Eddie Van Halen and Steve Vai I’m afraid ;)

    LB,

Let’s hope he doesn’t insist on wearing those leggings while you are instructing him in the art of creative smallholding, one false move and it’ll turn into a rip-roaring fiasco, just make sure you’re not the one nearest the pond!!

    Rod,

One of the many reasons why you out shine the average mortal male is the mirror-like finish on your shoes. Nevertheless, we suspect LB caught you wearing fluffy slippers when this shot was taken and has carefully edited them out to avoid controversy. Perhaps you’d be kind enough to send us a 5×7 glossy, signed of course by yourself and LB, for us to flog when times get hard :)

One last point Rod, are Eddie and Steve likely to ask you for a request … they’ve attempted that with the Witches and it wasn’t pleasant, steer clear if we was you…

Black patent stilettos with a 4″ heel actually :)

You could put the 5×7 glossy on the mantlepiece - it would keep kids away from the fire :)
