I Should be Number One in Google
Getting a page to number one in Google for a designated search phrase is clearly the holy grail. As well as being financially beneficial and increasing traffic it can also be amusing.
I built a page on a popular collectable author and managed to go straight in at #1 for the key two word search phrase.
This prompted an email:
Could you move your page down from the top please? I have been at number one for years and now you have knocked me off. I have emailed Google and asked them to put me back on top but have not heard back yet.
I look forward to hearing from you.

My response: I built another page on another site which is set to push them down even further. It’s a cruel world
