					<description>Rod,

Well then for the sake of our American viewers and fashionistas everywhere ... this season it's black and frilly (shower hat that is) to add that little 'je ne sais quoi' to ablutions. For you Rod, we suggest only a fine quality bath elixir to go with your rubber duck and integrated waterproof tv for a splendid bathing experience, followed by a swedish massage performed by a highly qualified exponent of the art (or anyone willing to try, will little or no experience necessary :) ).

					<description>WoE
cannot tell you ages etc but I can tell you most of the visitors are American.
Visitors to this site do tend to read quite a lot looking at visit duration lengths.

Personally I always look good in the bath - in fact so good I ought ot take one more than once a week :)

					<description>Rod,

&lt;i&gt; ideas take some juggling &lt;/i&gt; ... save all that for the Great Rodini, you on the other hand must knuckle down and draw up a character assessment of the type of person viewing the 3,000 posts daily. Are these people reading our comments as well as their intended posts? What sort of age are they and where do they live .... will they be interested in our latest shower hat purchase which couldn't be hotter if it tried? We are happy to give details of how to look good in the bath/shower this season for any interested parties :)

					<description>Dino
thanks for that, much appreciated.
You hit on a good point, the fact you might not use them does not mean there's no neeed to know about them.
For example for parents out there: You should check and see which of these sites they are using or want to use !
If they ask; say no to MySpace but consider and check out Bebo for example.

If you are a professional or someone in the job market or on a career path you should have a linkedin profile.
I have several and I'm not even in the rat race - there must be other benefits too ;)

Best

<description>As a relative newcomer to computers and the internet, without having taken a course or read a book on how to make the most of its potential, I would just like to thank you for the information you give! I think there's an assumption that as all under 30 year olds have grown up with computers, everyone knows about the sort of social sites you have mentioned, I wouldn't necessarily use them but at least you have enlightened me a little more. Well done, keep it up (where have I heard that before?)</description>

					<description>Jordan
I'm trying to keep of the salacious stuff !
Knowing what to write and about is always tricky.
Lots of people like different stuff and a lot of people who look at the site (over 3,000 posts will be read today!) don't actually comment direction and ideas take some juggling.

I will certainly try harder though and if anyone has any suggestions I'm always pleased to hear them
Enjoy the weekend

Each to their own I guess!

It does seem that due to the lack of posts recently, you must need to do more topics that are of salacious content and a bit risqué. Keep your public happy

					<description>Jordan
there are a lot of ways to look at social networking on the internet. I certainly don't believe it's as black and white as you paint it.
There are advantages to being found both social and sometimes financial depending on your situation.

Presumably people you never really got on with would not be interested in contacting you but for me to hear from an old guitar playing friend was nice.

Interaction on the internet is not an exlcusive option for socializing but can be a great addition.
You can keep in touch with, and socialize with, people you cannot actually meet up with face to face sometimes.

Lots of kids today use IMs to chat together. They are all friends in groups and are literally talking to each other as they would were they in a group. Where can they do that at 9.30pm ?

I think these things can be used sensibly and safely and provide a great addition to a social life but they are not mutually exclusive.

As to what the world is coming to ... well ... that mystifies me !

Obviously a highly interesting topic, due to the amount of posts!

Who in their right mind wants to be found by anyone that they haven’t seen or heard of in years?
Surely if you wanted to be in touch with people you would be?

I can’t think of anything worse than meeting up with people I went to school with, who probably bullied you and ignored you throughout the whole evil process. And now are more than likely, size 20 got 6 kids and live on benefit! Or on the other hand want to brag at their fortune.

These internet sites facebook etc are all for sad lonely people. Putting posts on saying that they got drunk the night before, or that they have just had their lunch. So and so wants to be your friend, do you even know this person? Lonely heart advertisements, chat rooms, there is nothing more lonely and sad than the people using these.

What is the world coming too?
