Hermes Silk Ties Guide 7462 HA

I have a collection, albeit relatively modest, of Hermes Silk Ties and thought I would feature some of them as well as doing a guide to collecting them later on (yes Hermes ties are actually collectors items many sell for $100s each)
This one is one of my favourite designs, the one I find myself reaching for most readily when genteel neckwear is required
The Hermes 7462 HA
Made in France from 100% silk the ties are pure luxurious quality.
Hermes Silk Tie 7462 HABecause the designs are unique and produced only for one batch they become unobtainable once sold out. This has in turn has created quite a market in previously owned ties with the classic designs being highly sought after.
I myself sold one for about £400 (over $600) on eBay a few years ago !
I wish I’d kept it now :(

Some of the designs are less flamboyant than others so conservative tastes are well catered for. Others are for the more stylistically adventurous (but please do not start thinking about novelty ties - I beg you)
This particular one of mine is dark blue with red stars and half moons with red lips !

Those buying need to do so from reputable dealers as there is, inevitably, a problem with fakes out there !
As neckties go, I believe them to be simply the best in terms of style and brand name.
If you want to cut something of a dash, not difficult in Lincolnshire :) , in the necktie arena, then, as a gentleman, your really should own at least one Hermes Silk Necktie.

Careful though, they become addictive and before you know it …
Stylistically Yours
