Gordon Ramsay - Hypocrite - Enough Already

Gordon Ramsay - Hypocrite - Enough Already - Give Us a Break Please !

I’ve just about had enough of this uber celebrity chef !
The man who is constantly slamming so called ‘TV chefs’ and ‘celebrity chefs’ is in fact the biggest of the lot.
He’s all over the news feeds and papers this morning with a media blitz about his show tonight
Fake ‘press leaks’ from Channel 4 insiders about him swearing as the show is going live etc
I don’t understand why swearing on live TV is different to swearing on pre-recorded shows but then I aspire to be an English gentleman and would not use such language in mixed company or in open public

What surprises me the most is there has yet to be a media backlash against him !
Here in England our press have a tradition of building somebody up then taking great joy in tearing them down again once they have achieved success.
Unlike America, where success is respected, there is a culture here amongst many of resenting success and those that enjoy the fruits of it.

Don’t get me wrong, I admire what he’s done, I’ve even eaten in one of his London restaurants but we come back to that old Goldeneye chestnut hypocrisy

Say one thing and do another

He’s back on the TV tonight and is quoted as saying it’s going to be really exciting “cooking live”
Cooking live ! Exciting !
Please, how does he normally cook ?
Watching a piece of meat sizzle live on TV is not quite like watching the moon landings even for a hardened foodie.

They should have filmed me cooking my meal last night - much better !

Please just give us a break - he’s not the only chef in town and Gordon, you are
The Celebrity TV Chef Supreme
Congratulations on becoming what you most despise.

    Rod,
I must say I was particularly inspired by Jamie Oliver last night who showed us the benefits of having a kitchen garden, oh, and the benefits of being able to afford a gardener to do it.
Must dash, I am taking part in Gordon’s cook along tonight and need to get the last of the ingredients; fresh scallops and three week sirloin steak. I often cook a three course meal at home so naturally I am very excited.

I’d love to know how many people actually take part in this farce.
Careful moving the TV into the kitchen.

I can’t watch Oliver doing his at home series - it’s so false it’s bowel wrenching !
