A day Trip to York in Yorkshire
Today saw Goldeneye taking his life and sensibility in hand and going Up North !
Being a southerner this is naturally a potentially traumatic experience for me.
Thankfully, the natives were sufficiently diluted by tourists from around the world to soften the blow
I can also report that I saw nobody with a whippet or eating black pudding.
It was a nice day but, being up north, a little chilly and windy on occasion.
York Minster is extremely impressive though a little difficult to photograph. Below sees me outside said building - the temptation to go in and marvel at the interior was doused rapidly by the £5 per head admission charge !

York is a nice place and one I have visited often, very good for clothes normally. This can lead to something of an expensive day but on this occasion however it was a cheap - no Church’s shoes that appealed, unable to buy a suit or trousers as nobody stocks 30″ waist and 34″ leg, no suitable Hackett polo shirt designs !
York is particularly suitable for ladies who like to shop and indeed this saw the only extraneous expenditure of the day - the pictorial evidence of which can be seen below in the last picture !
Sustenance was provided by York Hog Roast and damn fine it was too. If you find yourself in Goodram Gate then you’ll not be disappointed by the food offered at the York Hog Roast - remember to mention Goldeneye, as always when we recommend, I may get something back from it !
All in all a pleasant day and nice to revisit the City of York - I may go back to do a more complete visitors guide to York rather than just a day out in York

I can understand the Mystery Hot Chick wishing to remain anonymous, think of the paparazzi attention it could lead to !
