Hi.
Having my shopping delivered this week from Sainsbury’s for the first time - should I try the quiche? - the thought of not having to go supermarket shopping has so lifted my spirits!
Showing my ignorance, I guess Thomas Pink is a make of shirt and not referring to the colour. Must say, call me old fashioned, but do real men really wear pink?! Much prefer the boiler suit!

Sister Dear, do not mention the pink shirt as some of the Philosophy Group do, on occasion wear pink. The people concerned are a little sensitive about this subject naturally and are very unlikely to regard the boiler suit as part of a gentlemans wardrobe and they don’t like sandals either! Lynnie x

and another thing …… thank you for ordering the pomegranate molasses from Sainsbury’s. I am pondering on recipes to include this wonderful ingredient before launching it at the Tuesday gathering. Lynnie x

Mary,
click on my name, just above this post, and you’ll see your host wearing a pink Thomas Pink shirt!
I have done my time in boiler suits and it is an experiience I do not plan on repeating - I still have Vietnam veteran style flashbacks of the days when I was amongst the working masses!
I think I can recommend the quiche, they tasted nice. The tedium came about for me due to the fact that I ate 4 whole quiches in 4 days.
All this brings out the would be philosopher in me:
If real men don’t eat quiche do they wear pink shirts?

My husband tells me I am wrong about the pink shirt! But then I don’t mind as long as he wears it under his boiler suit!
Lyn, need no convincing on the sandal issue but , in denouncing the sandal, what options do we leave for men? - still somewhat concerned about the flip-flop. There are certain men of our aquaintance who may use their “initiative” if we don’t offer guidance soon!

Sis, having seen Mr Federer on court today I need no convincing that shorts are just fine for the male! Not every sort I grant you but there is scope for designer options. The flip-flop stays on the beach and is worn by children and women only (glamorous versions of course). I am preparing myself for the return of M&S man who as we know, is unlikely to change his fashion tendencies unless drugged.
Should I see Roger in a full length trouser I might not recognise him and that would be a tragedy ….. he has the ultimate body, we’d be so wonderfully matched! Lynnie x
p.s. No, no I mean sense of humour, he’s exceptionally witty ….

I feel there is a fine line between philosophising and fantasising! Do you think Roger has a boiler suit?!

Lyn,
I am not drinking claret (it is 8.30am that’s why) good old PG Tips in the morning.
I may go back on the wagon next week!!
