Folklore of Lincolnshire by Susanna O’Neill ~ Book Review

Folklore of Lincolnshire written by Susanna O’Neill
Here’s a cracking thing for you, check this out, please do give it a read . . .

Christmas is a time for receiving I always say and this year was no different. It’s fair to say that buying books on Lincolnshire for me is a risky proposition, especially if they’re in print, I have most of them - that said . . .
My brother shoots, he scores . . .

Folklore of Lincolnshire by Susanna O’Neill

Folklore of Lincolnshire by Susanna O’Neill, seen there in rather fine company it has to be said, is a book about the legends, mysteries, customs, lore and indeed some of daily life.
There are a few books on Lincolnshire Legends and the like, I’ve several myself, this however is very much different to the norm of recycled stories and tales.
I really like it, there’ some great stuff in it and if this is your sort of thing then you could do an awful lot worse than buy it - I certainly would having seen it now.
It’s available from all good bookshops, please do buy it from a bookshop if you can, published in 2012 by The History Press and is a bargain at £14.99.

Thanks to Susanna for writing it and my brother for buying it - my job is to be inspired by it and find a few new places to visit and ultimately share that day with those who visit here

All the best
Rod
