Fitness the Final Stage and a New Craze

As previously alluded to whilst talking about Hatcliffe and Irby the final pay off was a new craze

The chance meeting mentioned in the Hatcliffe post got me thinking about a road racing bike with renewed fervour. Such was the fervour that instead of returning home I revisited yet another place from my past.
Ettridge Cycles in Grimsby. Still owned and run by Steve Ettridge and a place I haunted as a boy.
My idea was to have a look and see what’s what.
After a great chat and incredibly useful advice from Steve I sprung open the Goldeneye purse !

The new Goldeneye set of wheels can be seen below - though mine is slightl different in colour - a little more flambouyant - as you’d imagine

At this point I would like to recommend Ettridge’s and suggest anyone with a similar interest give them a look. The service is beyond anything you’ll receive buying from the internet or chain stores - not to mention vastly superior bikes. Add to this supporting your local shops - you know it makes sense !

Returning home I got changed and headed straight out - what a delight the bike was superb and I put quite a few miles in. This is going to complete the final phase of The Daniel Craig Workout - without a doubt !

Of course this wasn’t the end of it, the following day, Sunday, I went into town to purchase suitable leg wear.
Regulars will be only too aware of the trend I started  in the Art of Successful Cross Dressing :)
You’ll not be staggered to hear the new cycling strides followed in the same vein !
Black, skin tight and of course size 10 ;)

A hot chick seeing me returning from an awesome test run around Waltham, Barnolby, Laceby, Aylesby and Ravendale said she thought they could be regarded as obscene
She could have a point - glances from female pedestrians and motorists were noticeably greater in number than normal

I realise I’ve bought the bicycle at the wrong time of year but I hope to be getting out as often as possible both for pleasure and calorie burning exercise.
I feel greatly invigorated and it’s not just the trousers !
Regards
Rod

    Rod,

Make sure you fit that bike with a nice basket at the front for the occasional hedgerow picking session or even the fashionable carriage of books and a baguette… :)

I’m not too worried about the saddle or the area it affects - after all where thee’s no sense there’s no feeling :)

I’m having a basklet made fro carbon fibre :)
I’ll not be carrying books in it though - hedgerow produce maybe - after all that wold be worth more than a basket full of books nowadays :)

    Rod,

The Witches have a carbon fibre basket but every time we stick out an arm to indicate turning, we fall off so be careful :) Could be sheer weight of baguettes and hedgerow produce of course…. next time we’ll use the bike :)
