I know from a previous profession that the standards in factories producing for MacDonald's are higher than required for anyone else. Higher even than pet food factories - that's not a joke by the way. Pet food production is more stringent than that for humans ! RC ARB

Lazy parents produce lazy kids which goes some way to explaining why our food heritage has gone down the pan. Everyone bangs on about the Italians, Spanish and French but we used to be the same, the recipe books prove it. The difference between us and those mentioned is that they can still be a***d, we can't. It all comes down to self discipline, you've either got it or you haven't. LB Rod,
