Does Having Children Make You Stupid ?
Viewing the world from outside is something I seem to do all the time nowadays and it’s as illuminating as it is disturbing.
One of the more disturbing aspects is looking at what some parents do
Indeed it’s getting so bad I’m bound to ask
Does Having Children make You Stupid ?
I once advanced a suggestion that everybody should have an IQ test on leaving school - those below a certain level should have their IQ tattooed on their foreheads - this would at least serve as a warning to others !
This radical proposal puzzlingly failed to gather momentum and get off the ground.
My compromise policy was still to do the tests but this time those that fell below an agreed level should be sterilized !
This too failed to garner political support 
So we are where we are - halfwits breeding like rabbits ! But are some parents as idiotic as they are because they’ve had children ?
Some of the things I read suggest they would struggle to reproduce given the mentality they show after having done so - so perhaps it’s having offspring that reduces the mental capacity of some parents.
I don’t say all mothers and fathers of course but when you read statistics taken from a recent survey such as this then perhaps you’ll see where I’m coming from
1 in 10 mothers surveyed thought Jaffa Cakes counted toward your 5 fruit and vegetables a day
In an information led world is it still feasible in the developed world that parents who cannot understand simple things themselves cannot look into things ? Is it all so complicated ?
The survey went onto to uncover a litany of unbelievable ignorance - it really is incredulous !
Given that we are now entering an era, for the first time in 100 years, that there will be a reduced life expectancy for the new generation. A whole generation of parents are faced with the prospect of burying their children !
Does this mean nothing ?
