Daniel Craig Will Do 4 More James Bond Movies

Daniel Craig has signed a contract to do another 4 007 films.

The man who has turned around the James Bond franchise has reportedly signed a new contract to play the secret agent right up to, and including, the 25th movie in the series.

It shows just how well regarded the actor is that the producers commit to such a long term contract.
It is also something of a surprise that Daniel Craig himself has tied himself up for so long.
Clearly he enjoys the role and the benefits that come with it.
One of those benefits is, of course, money !
There has been no public disclosure of the contract details but it is believed it will make him Britain’s highest paid actor.
For whatever these rumours are worth, not much in our opinion, there is talk that the deal is worth £30 million to DC. As to whether this is true or how near the mark we cannot say, it does not seem unlikely though.
So good news for all those of us who are pleased that the series has been rescued, not just by the actor but also by a change of direction by the producers.
The new film is being prepared as I write and we’ll bring details as and when they become available

    Rod,
They could do with getting one of the ‘Bourne’ directors and writers on board, it seems like a natural step to take to me otherwise I really cannot see how they can keep flogging a very tired horse for many more films.

I don’t think trying to copy Bourne is the answewr for them. The Bourne format highlighted more than ever the need to bring 007 ‘up-to-date’ as it were. They’ve done this so to me it’s all down to scripts.
Getting great directors and a cast should be easy enough and they have the money to make a stunning film.
It comes down to, as all films do imho, a good script.

One thing to be sure, WoE will be pleased!

Had you had a glass of claret or three whilst writing your last reply? Your spelling for one so grammatically correct is a bit amiss.

    Jordan,

Ah yes, the thought of seeing our cardboard investment soar in value in our dotage is a great comfort! With any luck we will be able to collect the full set which will make for interesting dinner parties…. there’ll be a Daniel for every witch and the cost of catering will be negligible!
