Daniel Craig James Bond Official New Omega Watch 007
After all the speculation as to which model watch would be worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale the news is finally out.
The new Omega watch campaign has started for Casino Royale. Craig will be sporting the Omega Seamaster Professional, as Pierce Brosnan did before him.
As always, Omega watches have done the business with the campaign. Apologies for picture quality but this is from a newspaper and we have been unable to find it anywhere online yet
Omega Seamaster Professional
Confirmation that the Seamaster is once again the official watch is something of a mixed blessing here. On the one hand it means I don’t have to buy another Omega, as was likely when they touted the DeVille.
However, it was going to be a bit of an excuse to buy another and treat myself!
Guess I’ll keep it in the old oak chest

I am indeed on an economy drive, and new Omega watches would indeed dent the coffers.
As a consolation treat I may buy some more socks instead! (with coloured stripey toes and heels) ahhh the decadence!

Not doubting you or anything, but what of the pretty clear images of the preview and it clearly seems that Bond is wearing a Planet Ocean XL with rubber strap?!

Given what you said and the poster campaign above it would seem Omega are looking to take this one for as much as it is worth.
Looks like a may have to buy another watch after all !

Great information on the ad, Rod.
Shortly after this Post, I got information on the actual model number for an anticipated Omega Planet Ocean Limited Edition for James Bond 007, “Casino Royale.”
Model number 2709.50.91 (black/black, on rubber strap).
Identified photos in support of another Post here regarding the new Bond Planet Ocean are also exclusive to my site, dating back to March. (Agreement w/ the source precludes Posting them elsewhere).
The Planet Ocean (”Casino Royale”) LE is reported to be a great deal more subtle than the Seamaster (”James Bond”) LE; and this time, it’s just 5,007 pieces, as opposed to 10,007 for the Seamaster.
So I wanted to give folks a head’s up before the hype kicks in nearer the movie premier.
