Churchs Black Oxford Shoes
Church’s shoes are a sign of class and quality in an English gentleman.
Naturally, we would recommend anyone aspiring to such heights to have at least two pairs.
If your current budget will only stretch to one pair then we recommend a pair of black Oxfords to get you started.
Whilst not exactly cheap they are excellent value and will last a lifetime if looked after.

There are several online outlets for those unable to buy locally. I believe there is also a Church’s outlet at the factory itself.
I can personally vouchsafe for these as well. I have a pair myself. They have already provided several years of great service and continue to look as smart today as they did when I removed them from their felt bags !

Cameron
thnaks for the comment and welcome to the site.
I can heartily recommend the shoes from personal experience.
It may pay you to mail order them, I know various outlets ship outside the UK and should be easily found online

Hi, I was wondering how to resole these shoes to make them last as long as you stated… normal cobbler is ok? Thanks!!

Hi Jason
not sure about a normal cobbler or shoe repairer - perhaps a good one or an old fashioned one.
The shaped rubber insert in the heel is easy enough to replace but resoling the leather sole ought to be done properly if longevity is your aim
