Christmas Day
Well it’s christmas day and my festive cup runneth over! Yesterday with the family went very well indeed and a good time was had by all.
edit This also now contains my last will and testament
This morning saw me opening 3 presents many thanks to SC (overly generous) and C&B (a very kindly and much appreciated gesture)
The overall present situation turned out well, I have not done all the math but I suspect when I take everything into account I am down in financial terms ! Still it could have been a lot worse !
I shall not bore you with all the details of what I got but I shall be posting details of one of them later. I rocked the street into the small hours last night with DVDs of AC/DC live at Castle Donnington and Motorhead - Boneshaker again live - Monster
Continuing the theme, I shall be wearing my new t-shirt today - Bart Simpson Born to Rock.
It’s awesome, as is the other Simpsons present I received a few days ago, opened both last week but waited till the day to wear it, (big long time fans of the Simpsons here at Goldeneye) 2 very special presents I shall treasure from 2 special young people.
The final thoughts as to the will are being mentally bounced around - this year could be drastic!
I think I am going to drop over 20 beneficiaries!
Much will depend on my mood over the next few hours. I shall add to this as and when!
I may even include who is in the will with an idea of what they are in for!

Born to Rock ! - Awesome !
edit 4.30pm
OK here it is then (cannot believe I am doing this but hey ho !)
23 bequests have been dropped ! The most drastic revision ever. Here are the winners in order, highest first, and an idea of what’s in it for them. This is the total number so if you’re not on the list - you’re out
-
Brother = he gets £ 6 figures
An Old and Valued Friend = my businesses, websites & business capital
Goddaughter = £ 5 figures
Hedgehog preservation society = £ 4 figures
Another old friend gets bits and pieces/various + £4 figure sum
A cool dude and a hot chicklet = £ 4 figures apiece
My Mother gets my diaries - so she can finally find out what I’ve been up to!
My Father gets a case of Château Lafite Rothschild to spoil his palate forever
In the unlikely event of them needing anything, they can ask my brother
he’ll be loaded
So there you have it - they say everything is on the internet - well it is now!
edit 5.35pm
Time for my xmas dinner. As I’ve had no lunch I decided to push the boat out in celebratory style. Pictorial evidence below lest anyone not believe me, also backdrop this post for a time stamp.

Two bacon sandwiches & a pint of water!
I’m sure you’ll all agree the Goldeneye xmas dinner is a festive bounty to behold !
Lest anyone start feeling sorry for me (very unlikely I know) I have had 5 separate invitations for a full xmas dinner.
As a nod to the day I shall break my no drinking before 19.30 hrs rule now and have a large cognac and a davidoff cigarette as a special xmas treat.
Prost !
final edit 7.10pm
The curtain is soon to close on another christmas day, I shall shut the ‘net off shortly as I have an appointment with St Emilion. The email spammers seem to have woken up around the world - 137 emails in less than 2 hours, thanks guys.
I also spoke too soon when I thanked the blog-spammers for giving me the day off.
To them I say
jonny - no thanks mate it’s already big enough
75axa444 - I am slim enough without the pills thanks
Adnan - I’m not in the market for real estate
Chris44 - don’t forsee the need to hire a car in Pasadena thanks
Bounder - I’m sure your blog is great - must be you tell me about it every day
To 17 different people - I don’t play online poker thanks
44daysxxx - your site on Thai virgins is not my cup of tea thanks
BiggerBreasts - I have no use for breast enhancement cream
etc etc etc
No doubt you’ll all be posting again tomorrow - hope you manage to get some links somewhere and happy Spammin & Jammin.
Traffic has been surprisingly high over all the sites today, not just me online then.
That’s it then all done
As a great man once said
It’s as far away now as it will ever be !
On that note, best wishes to all
Au Revoir
Rod

Rod,
I win, I win!!!!-knew the Deutschland t-shirt would swing it!!!
Your bacon sarnie mountain beat my effort this morning but I reply with a whole roast goose for one!! Roast potatoes in the bird’s fat, home grown sprouts and squash, chestnut stuffing and a rake of apple sauce. The left-overs will make a fine lunch of confit d’ oie aux haricot blancs in the morning.
Don’t spoil Collins snr with the fine wine, last night he secretly polished off the gigondas after you left-the swine.

LB
indeed you are the winner, solid steady work throughout the year was the key to your success.
Your dinner sounds fabulous, how the other half live.
Still, I suppose as you now feel you ‘have expectations’ as they used to say, you can throw caution to the wind.
Regards
Rod

My Xmas day was a lot better than this !
After a lazy start and a fine breakfast of kippers, bacon, eggs, toast and marmalade I had my valet lay out my best suit in readiness for a day of debauchery at my London club.
Christmas day is the only day women are allowed into the hallowed halls of my favourite retreat. Strangely, one or two of the newer members bring their wives - not something the more established members are used to I must say.
I had already made arrangements for my companion, a pretty young filly I met outside a christmas grotto in Oxford Street. She was dressed as a sexy santa and I managed to slip behind the curtain with her and gave her something for christmas !
Drink and food flowed copiously until we retired to a private room which I had pre-booked, wisely it turned out as they were in demand that night.
I shall not go into details but suffice is to say a good time was had by all, especially her.
This is what you should be doing Rod !
Writing wills, bacon sandwiches - what’s up with you man?
You should come and spend a week with me in London, that’ll sort you out.
Pull your self together and
keep it up !
