Its just started snowing here and the first thing you hear are Emergency Service sirens, Why oh why, are we the only country that is so unprepared for these conditions?
This weather was forcast 2 days ago!!!

we are a disaster in the snow, the papers this morning were on about 3 million not going into work, schools shut and the like - if we got 6 foot drifts I could understand it !
My head is very warm, primarily because it’s full of hot air of course
Beware on the hat front, they can be devastatingly effective (see pic above) but equally, they can be diasterous as well - the wearing of hats is not for everybody and extreme sartorial caution is urged
