Watched the Fourth Protocol, taken from the book by Frederick Forsyth, on DVD the other night.
Michael Caine and Pierce Brosnan did a creditable, if unremarkable, job.
Strangely, we have never seen it before, quite why I am not sure. Anyway, we are now sole owners of a copy, so we need not be submitted to the misery of being unable to watch it, should the urge thrust itself upon us.

Last night we watched the DVD of Sin City, featuring Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke et al. We like to think of ourselves as appreciative of good movies. This we bought simply for a presupposed cinematic experience on the home cinema system.
The film surpassed all of our expectations, the cinematography and direction were simply stunning.
