Can You Psychoanalyze Yourself
Is it possible to psychoanalyze yourself or do you really need professional help?
A subject of increasing interest to me
Given that we are all a product of our environment and shaped by life’s events to a greater or lesser extent, how much of life’s journey can we navigate and how much is tidal? taking us where it will?
Whilst I have always been a believer in shaping your own destiny, success, or indeed the lack of it, can you, or events, actually change you as a person?
Whilst you may be able to transform your circumstances and surroundings, do you still remain the same person set against a different background?
This was meant to be a deep incisive entry, not the usual drivel about hot girls, stupid emails, and other such associated nonsense.
But, as you can see, I digress.
Ennui takes the helm

Rod, who was it that said Man is three things, how others see him, how he sees himself and how he really is?
Nature/nurture …… used to think more nurture, but tend to think the reverse these days.
Since none of us will ever know for sure it is always worth investigating. However there are those who find this type of conversation too deep as I’ve experienced. Does it make them feel uncomfortable or perhaps they just aren’t interested.
However, ‘nonsense’ is vital don’t you think. Anyone who can enter it’s world from time to time is surely rewarded! Perhaps the two subjects belong at the same table, or at least I know a venue where they can be freely discussed and often are! Regards, WoE

I have typed several paragraphs concerning this and deleted them all, as I find I end up contradicting myself! I am left pondering how much of the tide do we navigate and what a nuisance those rip curls are.

Possibly that is part of the answer Mary. Whenever we really think about these things in any depth we inevitably find contradictions and possibly even a hint of hypocrisy!
I know I do

I think we revert to type, it is possible, I suspect, to have the appearance of change but it is not a natural state. We become like an actor, constantly trying to remember the new persona
I do indeed! And so do most of the people who visit the site I suspect.
Girls, Rod Damon, lingerie, silly emails etc are bar far the most popular pages.
I’ll see what I can do to balance the two

Wot’s appened to your blog? It’s a cross between the Krypton Factor and Claire Raynor….never mind the women from mensa show us the birds! When life seems a trifle complicated just post a picture of a busty model and bingo!
job’s a good ‘un. Here’s a scientific formula: totty=more hits=higher rankings, debating the meaning of life=zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
