Breitling Navitimer Chronograph Watch Review
The Breitling Navitimer is now over 50 years old but still remains an iconic wristwatch.
The design has altered little in that time and it remains a favourite of pilots and men who prefer a watch of some weight and substance. Unlike many chronographs, the dials and bezel perform serious functions. It is capable of calculating air speed, rates of descent, fuel consumption and the conversion of standard miles into nautical miles amongst other things. The whole thing revolves around the slide rule principal - nothing electronic !

Once again, we would not bring you a cheap Swiss watch but something of quality and should you wish to buy a Breitling you are buying a timeless wristwatch for life.
If we have one criticism it is, having looked at them several times over the years with a view to buying one, I found myself always disappointed that the chronometer itself didn’t quite live up to the glossy adverts in terms of quality and looks.
That said, a fine timepiece for the discerning gentleman
