Breitling Blackbird Watch Review
This wristwatch review sees us return once again to the iconic Swiss manufacturer Breitling, previously we have covered the Chrono Avenger, the Navitimer Chronograph and the Bentley Signature Model.
This time we’ll take a look at and review The Blackbird
This model is a special edition and has, as always with this manufacturer, an officially chronometer certified movement. This is not to be underestimated in value. Whilst the benefits may not be visible externally the joy to be had in owning such a superb piece of horological engineering are what wristwatches such as this are all about.
If you don’t get it or see it then save yourself a lot of money and get a battery powered multi dial affair from any high street shop for next to nothing
Unusually, the date feature appears in the 12 O’clock position which seemed strange at first though after looking at it for a while one realizes it’s not strange at all, even logical, and brings to mind the thought why does it normally appear on the side ?
Comes with the standard issue brushed stainless steel pilot’s bracelet which blends nicely in shades of polished and brushed metalwork.
Overall then a superb timepiece. Being a limited edition I’m not sure how many they’ve made or a going to produce so if you are looking to buy one then possibly sooner rather than later would be the best bet. As always we recommend using an official retailer on the high street but for those looking to save money and find the cheapest available then online websites may be the route to go - but do take care and buy only from reputable outlets
