Obviously I’m pretty popular 
but even I have to admit the reunion of the Spice Girls gets more coverage than little ole me but … and I’m not making this up …
More people are reading what I write than are buying the new CD released by Posh, Scary, Sporty and Ginger !
I’ve been watching their UK sales throughout this week and it’s still holding true that more people are visiting me than are buying their comeback CD.
It’s one in the eye for all those teachers who said I’d never get anywhere - bigger than the Spice Girls - paste that into your hat !
Who said bookselling is dead !

You’ll know it’s me, I’ll have a copy of GQ under one arm and Kate Moss on the other !
Surely this can only add to my standing as the Most Eligible Bachelor on Wybers Wood - my position must now be unassailable
I am not sure how I’ll cope with this situation - I hope to stay grounded and avoid getting carried away but I can already feel it going to my head truth be told.
Can I appeal to all my readers not to turn and start to hate me - despite this incredible news and my unarguable global success I am still just a little old semi-retired book dealer from Lincolnshire at heart - success won’t change me !
Must dash as I intend to spend the evening snorting coke off the bodies of naked supermodels drinking claret and watching a movie

It’s just a bit of fun, I probably forgot to mention the huge sold out concerts millions of sales elsewhere in the world, the fact it’s a compilation so everyone who likes them already has the songs.
But hey … lets not spoil the headline … technically it’s not a lie if carefully read …
