The workout listed here is ALMOST complete. Per Men's Health Magazine, there are few exercises missing on each day as listed above. For example, the Power Routine (Monday and Friday) is Clean and Jerks, Weighted Knee raises, Weighted Step Ups, Pullups, Incline Pushups, and Dips.

We've substituted the Incline push ups with weighted press ups but aside from that we've stuck the routine as was in Men's health and I can tell you, I REALLY kicks your butt but the results are amazing. Not a routine for a beginner by any means.

In a particular leading mens health and fitness magazine this month the 'Quantum of Solace' workout is descibed on pages 190 & 191.

Firstly it was engineered by Simon Waterson and Daniel apparently trained five days a week with an 'active rest' weekend. This meaning he did some stretching, light cardio, swimming etc.

The workouts are based on circuits with minimal rest periods between sets.

The workout looks like this;

Day One - Power Circuit

Weighted Knee Raises
Clean and Press
Weighted Step Ups

Three sets, ten reps each exercise

Day Two - Chest & Back

Incline Press Ups
Incline Bench Press
Pull Ups
Incline Flys

Four sets, ten reps each exercise

Day Three - Legs

Squats
Deadlifts
Hamstring Curls
Weighted Lunge

Four sets, ten reps each exercise

Day Four - Shoulders & Arms

Incline Bicep Curls
Dips
Lateral Raises
Standing Shoulder Press

Four sets, ten reps each exercise

Day Five - Repeat Day One

Good Luck!!

Daniel talks about his recent training regime in a MSN interview;

Q. Tell us about your preparation?

DC: Before Christmas I was doing about five days a week in the gym. But then, that would be in the evenings and then two months before Christmas I was here every day weapons training, rehearsing, script discussions, talking with the director, doing things that you do when you’re planning to do a movie this size.

Rod,

We shall watch and consider before offering a padded Peruvian sweater.... bad news about yours by the way, the knitters thought you might be a woman and have sewn the shoulder pads in a new and innovative place :) We have asked them to knit you an outrageous hat to detract attention from your cleavage.... for a minute there we thought it was a disaster ...

Rod,
A great post, very worthwhile. I would suggest the most striking aspect to DC's training regime is that, despite approaching forty years of age he (and most others if they are so inclined) can considerably change his body shape for the better.
Inspiring stuff!
