Bank Holiday Weather UK ~ Lincolnshire Forecast

There’s something of a tradition here in the UK, well there’s many but the one under consideration is Bank Holiday Weather.
It may be stereotypical to assume the national holidays are always a climatic let down but as discussed before stereotypes require a grain of truth to exist.
Why was I told to fire up the barbeque, make sure I had sunscreen blah blah blah
Instead I had the fire on last night and the heating on today

Of course nothing is more tedious than listening to people complain about and talk about the weather and I’m nothing if not tedious - I tend to bore myself so Mithras knows what I do to others :)
It is accepted that the weather does play both a positive and negative role on we humans (do I include myself as human ? questionable).
The winter blues have to be beaten and the well known SAD disorder presents yet more challenges.

Today I see that a town in Scotland is taking action against the BBC as they say the BBC weather forecast continually says it’s raining there and is wrong an alarming amount of time. Their complaint being that it is wrecking their tourism efforts - a good point - as opposed to a dull edge which I feel I have at the moment !

Anyways, hopefully something will materialize today as I don’t want to spend the entire day researching and cataloguing the life’s work of Reginald Heade for my Classic Crime Fiction website.
Whilst it is satisfying and I always enjoy it I had visions of myself sat in the finely manicured Goldeneye Grounds with one sausage and one beef burger on the barbie taking in the sun and enjoying my outdoor party :)

Tommy Cooper Gag of the Day
I phoned the local gyym and asked them if they could teach me to do the splits.

The guy said: “how flexible are you”

I said: “I can’t make Tuesdays or Thursdays”

On this Day in History
Charles Rolls and Henry Royce agreed the partnership to create Rolls Royce cars in 1904

Margaret Thatcher was elected as Prime Minister in 1979.
The first woman Prime Minister and the last one with balls !
