In the dim and distant past, wen I woz an injuneer, I too could work bank holidays should I so wish. The remuneration was double time for all hours worked, plus a day off in lieu payed at time and a half. Sounds like you need to renegotiate! OMITK

It's bad enough not being able to do anything on a sunday because of the dozen or so remaining christians that still live in the UK but monday's as well-if I have to work bank holidays then so should everyone with a caravan or a horsebox-don't get me started.
